Questions
What are dental implants?
Dental implants are titanium posts surgically placed into the jawbone to mimic natural tooth roots. The titanium fuses with bone tissue to create a solid foundation for the restoration, or crown, permanently attached to the implant. Patients enjoy function, comfort, durability, and beauty similar to nature’s smile. Implants may also anchor dentures, partials, or bridges.
What are veneers?
Veneers are thin porcelain shells attached to the front teeth to close gaps, mask imperfections, correct bite problems, or otherwise enhance the appearance of a smile. In as few as two office visits, we can transform a patient’s smile with handcrafted, custom-shaped veneers.
Why haven’t other dentists been this thorough?
We know that your smile affects your life. Our five-point examination may be more comprehensive than your previous dental exams, but optimal oral healthcare can only be met when we fully understand the unique workings of your teeth, bite, and oral structures. As your trusted dental care providers, a comprehensive exam is our responsibility. We take your health seriously because we care about your general well being. Recent research has shown a healthy mouth can help reduce your risk of heart disease and cancer. Other diseases, such as diabetes, are more readily controlled when the mouth is in a healthy state.
